At the end of a long hike is a section of Zion National Park that sees relatively few visitors. The destination is a reward of it’s own. The setting is absolutely amazing. They call it Double Falls and it is near the end of a hiking trail up the Right Fork of North Creek in Zion. At the top of this waterfall are several fingers carved into the sandstone that funnel water down to a sandstone shelf overhanging a beautiful pool of clear water. With ferns growing from the underside of this shelf, and foliage all around, it makes for an amazing atmosphere of true natural beauty.
